Easter is 10 days away and we are getting so egg-cited about the egg hunts, church breakfast and all the weekend celebrations so I thought it would be fun to share some Easter party inspo - we did this little get together with the kiddos and their cousins and it was just so cute seeing them together. I also had one of my good friends and photographer, Danielle, capture some moments while we were there for keepsake photos.
Set Up
The ages of our kids and their cousins are between 11 months - 7 years and I ALWAYS find that doing tables on the ground like this is so much easier. I just used a large white sheet on the ground to keep their bottoms from getting dirty. Then, I used 2 galvanized buckets I had from home and placed a pallet on top. The "table" was topped with another white sheet and a cute bunny tablecloth I found at Dollar Tree.
Plates, napkins and cups were all from the Confetti Pop Easter collection (which peep - is 20% OFF through Easter!)
For other decor, I just used Spring things I had around the house - a vase with bright flowers, a bunny cupcake stand, some burlap and some flocked bunnies.
FOOD
Snacks were all breakfast treats - no utensils required ;) - and literally all came from McDonald's Bakery - so easy and the kids LOVED it! We had: McCafe Blueberry Muffins, Apple Fritters and Cinnamon Rolls + some yummy chocolate chip cookies!
BALLOONS
It's Confetti Pop - you know I have to have a balloon arch of some sort, right? I have used this table balloon arch stand (only $14) multiple times and it works great. I had hard time attaching it to the pallet so I just stuck the ends right into the ground.
The balloons started as bright colors, but I double stuffed inside white to give the more pastel look.
PHOTO SPOT
I also wanted another spot set up for photos - something fun, themed and yes, has balloons! I decided to put together a lemonade-type stand but we made it a carrot stand for the party. With another pallet, 2 dowels and a 1x4, it did exactly what we needed.
Danielle, our photographer, was also able to get some BEAUTIFUL ones of the kids for those keepsake photos.
All in all, it was short, simple and absolutely perfect. We will definitely be making this a yearly tradition :)
A HUGE Thank You to Danielle for our gorgeous pictures - she is local to the Granville County area - we have used multiple times and will continue!
Don't forget to hop over to the Easter Collection and snag some favorites at 20% OFF before they are gone!
Until next time!
With love and confetti,
Ashley V.
