Magical Galentine's Day Brunch Party

Magical Galentine's Day Brunch Party

Girls are full of energy, magic and spark so I this year I wanted to throw a Galentine's Day party for my daughter and all of her gal pals that celebrated all of that! It was full of flowers, balloons, color and of course, LOVE! I'm dying to show you all of the details so c'mon in!
The theme.
I knew I wanted to do a brunch. Two of Iliana's top 3 favorite foods are pancake and Dunkin's French Cruellers, we have this adorable heart waffle maker that is begging to be used and my fave meal is brunch so it seemed like a no-brainer! There are also so many fun foods you can do, like fruit, parfaits and SPRINKLE DONUTS!
I also wanted lots of florals so you'll see flowers and greenery worked in throughout. It made it have quite a magical feel when you walked in.
This take on a traditional balloon arch was probably my favorite thing! Want to do one yourself? It's really not that hard! I have Part One and Part Two of how to create it on my Instagram reels now!
Adding the greenery was the perfect touch to really bring this huge balloon heart to life.
This tablecloth garland hanging was one of my favorite decor pieces. It was EASY to make and again, just takes this space up a notch. I didn't have to do too much else to the table other than simple tableware and a couple little centerpieces.
Tableware: The heart plates I got from Dollar Tree and the smaller hot pink ones are from the party section at Dollar General!
For cups and forks/spoons, I just used my go-to that I KEEP in my pantry - Chinet crystal! So classic.
Tablecloth: XO vinyl tablecloth from Walmart! Less than $4!!
Favors: boxes of mini conversation hearts I picked up at the grocery store, heart-shaped bead necklaces and heart-shaped glasses are from Dollar Tree and little "LOVE YOU" wood wands for them to paint!
I also made these Self Love Placemat printables for them to decorate while they ate. There's a little note that tells them to decorate and take home so they'll always remember how amazing they are!
Food
This really is the best part right?!
I went with "easy as possible" when it came to the food. We had:
  • breakfast sausage links
  • "Make Your Own" parfait with fat-free vanilla yogurt, strawberries and blueberries and granola
  • Dunkin Donuts : vanilla frosted with sprinkles, original glazed and Ili's favorite, the french cruellers
  • mini croissants
  • heart-shaped waffles (thank you Dash Heart Waffle Maker - on sale this week at Target btw for $10!) These were GONE before I even got my plate! The girls loved them!
  • mini pancakes
  • mini bagels with cream cheese
  • apple fries

you could say there was no shortage of carbs! But that's brunch!

There was also a coffee station set up for the mamas, because you know we needed it.
Activities
Have you ever gotten a group of 6-year old girls together? If not, just know they really don't care about any of your activities. They disappear into the bedroom, blast music on Alexa and play like your party is not even happening lol

Eventually, I did get them to come eat and after putting Encanto on in the living room, they sat and did some crafts.

Here's a cute idea : Valentine heart wreath
They also loved painting ALL THE THINGS and decorating their placemats to take home. Zoom into Ili's for the sweetest little handwriting!

Overall, it was a huge success. The girls had fun and I loved getting to chat with the moms (and grandmas) that came.
Will you be throwing a Galentine's Day celebration this year? I love it even more than Valentine's Day to be honest (shhh... don't tell my husband) so this will definitely continue to be an annual thing for us.

Tell me what you think in the comments! Does this look like a party your gal would love?!
